It is shy, isn't it?
It is a "she" and she is just checking you out. A nice picture of an animal that some people love and others hate because they love to follow you planting beans, for example, and dig them out.

Now You Know Where Flowers Go
I know now why a lot these beautiful creatures death in side of road. They are like to posing in the middle of road.
Love squirrels. But, I think there isn't an animal I don't like. Nice capture.
Oh they can be proper little posers -- saw loads in a park in Chester the other week
